ABOUT THE AWARDS
Taking place at the EICC in Edinburgh, the ceremony is anticipated to attract up to 2,000 guests from 200 of the UK’s leading companies, representing an expected £200 billion in turnover, making it the largest business dinner in the UK.
Guests will hear from Sting who will have a fireside chat about his career and charitable efforts, as well as perform some unplugged songs, as well as a keynote address from our patron Sir Bob Geldof. The event will be hosted by A-list comedian Rob Brydon. The event is organised on a not-for-profit basis and has a target of raising £1M for charity, demonstrating the positive impact that the business community has on wider society. This year’s chosen beneficiary is the acclaimed homelessness charity – Social Bite. Funds will be raised through profits from the dinner, a charity auction and raffle on the evening and a special fundraising lunch being organised by the charity on the day of the event in partnership with Gleneagles Hotel.

If you or your company is a trailblazer within the British Business community, the British Business Awards is the considered choice for recognising your success and celebrating your business on a national scale.
With Sting making a rare appearance to address guests at this year’s ceremony, as well as performing unplugged songs, the British Business Awards will have significant national media reach and is an unmatched opportunity to highlight your success, as well as enabling you to network with the UK’s business elite.
The strength of the British business community is vital to the health of our society. Our businesses drive economic growth and innovation, they create employment, and they generate the tax revenues that pay for our public services.
The British Business Awards will recognise the best of British business and, at the same time, raise funds for those most in need.
For one amazing night in Edinburgh, we will bring together entrepreneurs and leaders from across British business to celebrate their achievements. With Sting, Sir Bob Geldof and Rob Brydon joining us this year, we can promise you one thing – The British Business Awards will be the very best night in the business calendar.
To be nominated, shortlisted or even crowned a winner is a proud distinction for all participating companies and individuals. But more than this, just by participating you are helping to raise vital funds for the most vulnerable people in society – with this year’s event raising funds for the acclaimed homelessness charity, Social Bite.
So, I would encourage you to join an expected 2,000 leaders in British business, in this unforgettable celebration of all that is great about Britain’s businesses and entrepreneurs.
